Artist Talk with Jessica Ray

Greenpoint Open Studios is proud to partner with Threes Brewing Greenpoint to showcase artwork by Greenpoint artists throughout the year. Come meet our summer artist, Jessica Ray, at an artist talk moderated by Marie Casimir. Jessica Ray is an inter-disciplinary artist that focuses on movement, filmmaking and mixed media abstract paintings. Her colorful abstract pieces are in conversation with the dynamics of physicality inspired from her dance practice. The works rich in texture and illustrations draw on emotional inquiry offering a mirror into the nervous system, acting as a conduit of desire, anxiety and bliss. Jessica’s work will be on display through August 30th.
