


Rising Appalachia - Two Shows at National Sawdust

atFolk ensemble Rising Appalachia is bringing their eclectic, euphonious sound to New York City for 2 exceptionally intimate nights at National Sawdust, presented by LPR. The band is scheduled to take the Brooklyn stage for back-to-back performances on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, in celebration of their upcoming album Trade My Troubles. Saturday’s show will feature special guest support from roots-pop duo Viv & Riley. Led by multi-instrumentalist sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith, Rising Appalachia have used their music and platform to make the world a better place. The band has since continued to merge activism and ancestral traditions with deep Southern blues and rich Appalachian folkways through their altruistic storytelling and lush vocal harmonies. Audiences can expect an expansive journey through Rising Appalachia’s rich discography, including deep cuts, fan favorites, and new material.
