I BECAME WE

Atlantic Theater Company presents the world premiere play I BECAME WE, a formally-daring, auto-fictional play from writer Mona Pirnot, directed by Sarah Benson with music by Jack D. Coen. It features a first-person monologue performed by a sixteen-person choir about a woman wrestling with one of life’s most important decisions, sung in the stylings of classical choral music. The ensemble comprises classically trained singers from across New York City. Special $25 tickets are available for performances October 16 – 31.
