Open General Public Meeting for Bushwick Open Studios 2013

7:00pm – 9:00pm | FREE!
Bushwick Open Studios 2013 will take place May 31 through June 2.
***Mixers for registration will run March 18-April 22.
***Registration will run March 22 - April 24.
We would like to invite our community to an open public meeting to give you all an opportunity to meet our volunteer leadership, introduce yourselves, ask general questions, and hopefully VOLUNTEER to help make this grassroots effort a success! The festival has grown exponentially with over 500 spaces registered last year.
THIS IS THE ONLY PUBLIC MEETING FOR BOS 2013. Our MIXERS for BOS in March will be open to the public (there will be five of them), but we hope to give everyone the opportunity to jump in on our organizers-only meetings at this time, or you can contact us by email to get involved. Organizers meetings will be happening on a WEEKLY basis after this point, and will be open to any individuals interested in assisting with BOS/Arts in Bushwick programming, volunteering, or design. To join the organizers meetings, please contact us by email.

Potential Volunteer?
We need help organizing and managing EVENTS, such as a performance art show and an opening party
managing and coding our WEBSITE (front and back end)
DESIGN TEAM: we need a new design team for PRINT and WEB. If you have any of these capacities you can help. We need designers and teammates who can OWN THE BRAND of Arts in Bushwick and help us transition the design theme to FUTURE events
VENUES! We are an all volunteer organization and are seeking hosts for our official events. If you have an EMPTY space or an EXISTING VENUE we are happy to work with you! We are seeking to house a visual arts show during BOS, an opening party (warehouse would be great but anywhere that will work with the setting), a performance art show, and some smaller community events.
GENERAL VOLUNTEERS: help us with our existing programming by assisting with the pre-BOS benefit, and during BOS weekend for a couple of hours of your time at our official community events.
